Code of Conduct - Goldcrest School, Gachibowli

At Goldcrest School Gachibowli, we believe that discipline, integrity, and values are the pillars of a strong educational environment. As per CBSE directives, every student will be regularly assessed on discipline, including attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respect for school rules, and attitude towards society and the nation. We request all students and parents to read the following guidelines carefully and work with us to build a positive, respectful, and responsible school community.

Our Expectations from Every Student

1. Uphold the School's Reputation:

Every student represents Goldcrest School. Your behavior inside and outside the campus should reflect dignity and pride. Always greet teachers, staff, and visitors courteously.

2. Practice Respect and Kindness:

Treat everyone with respect-teachers, classmates, visitors, and support staff. Bullying, rude language, aggression, or hurtful behavior is strictly forbidden and will attract disciplinary action.

3. Maintain Honesty and Integrity:

Be truthful in your words and actions. Cheating, stealing, or taking items without permission is unacceptable. Accept responsibility for mistakes and use them as learning opportunities.

4. Be Responsible and Sincere:

Complete assignments sincerely and face challenges with confidence. Take initiative to help others at home, in school, and in the community.

5. Respect School Property and Environment:

Take care of school furniture, classrooms, and facilities. Report damage immediately. Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, restrooms, labs, buses, and school grounds.

6. Promote Inclusivity and Brotherhood:

Treat everyone equally regardless of caste, color, or creed. Encourage unity, cooperation, and friendship among peers.

7. Demonstrate Self-Control:

Avoid shouting, whistling, running in corridors, or indulging in idle gossip. Physical aggression or throwing objects is strictly prohibited.

8. Follow Uniform and Grooming Standards:

Wear the school uniform neatly and with pride.
> Boys: Hair must be trimmed and not cover the forehead or collar.
> Girls: Hair should be neatly tied in ponytails or plaits.
Blazers and ties are compulsory during winter. Students must not wear the school uniform in public places outside school without permission.

9. Be Prepared and Organized:

Carry your school ID card daily. Keep your belongings arranged and your workspace tidy.

10. Respect Authority and Rules:

Stand when a teacher or visitor enters the classroom. Follow instructions respectfully. Learn to say "no" to anything inappropriate or wrong.

11. Contribute Positively:

Instead of complaining, look for ways to make positive contributions. Take pride in your school and help foster a better environment for everyone.

12. Protect Privacy and Practice Digital Responsibility:

Do not bring cameras to school or take pictures of school activities without written permission. Uploading photos or videos of school premises, events, or individuals on social media without consent is strictly prohibited.

Additional School Regulations

13. Students must always maintain discipline in the school.
14. All the students must attend the general assembly in the morning. Students should be present in the school before the 1st bell rings. Students arriving frequently late will be sent home.
15. 75% attendance is compulsory for promotion to the next higher class.
16. Students who damage any school furniture, write, or draw on the walls will be charged.
17. Students are not allowed to wear or carry gold ornaments like chains, rings, bangles, anklets, etc. School management is not responsible in case of loss/theft of any expensive item.
18. Students are prohibited from bringing a camera, mobile phones, electronic gadgets, toys, sharp instruments, blades, etc. inside the school premises.
19. Students are not allowed to bully or threaten other students, staff, or teachers.
20. Students should speak softly and politely and communicate in English only.
21. Parents or the Guardians must attend the PTM (Parent-Teacher Meeting) regularly.
22. Parents are welcomed to meet the Principal, In-charge regarding any queries, or suggestions on respective appointments.
23. School programs develops both intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. The parents are requested to make your ward to participate in school programs like Sports day, Annual Day, and other activities.
24. Students must follow the rules and regulations of the school. If any found deviating, he/she will have to face the necessary actions from the school.
